Ladakh is a beautiful place, which has the hustle and bustle with thick grove of popular trees. Ladakh consists of two districts Leh and Kargil. Its peaceful and tranquil settings justify its name, which in Buddhist mythology mean "Heaven on Earth". Ladakh, of which Leh is the capital, is a vast trans-Himalayan, high-altitude desert, north of Kashmir, in the vicinity of Central Asia and Tibet, Criss-crossed by high mountain ranges and glaciers, dotted with incredibly blue lakes like Pangong, Tsomo-Riri, Tsokar etc. The biggest and most famous of the monastic festivals is that of Hemis, which falls in late June or the first half of July, and is dedicated to Padmasambhava. You can have Back Safari or Jeep Safari to enjoy the beauty on the Earth and lots more.
