Alappuzha Beach
Known as the 'Venice of East', with the Arabian Sea in the West and a large number of lakes and lagoons crisscrossing it, Alappuzha is one of the most beautiful districts in Kerala. Famous for a horde of things, Alappuzha stands out for its breathtakingly amazing beach. This beach along with its famous backwater Houseboats and Boat races attracts thousands of tourists every year.
Beypore Beach
Located at the mouth of the Chaliyar River in Kozhikode district, Beypore, one of the prominent ports and fishing harbours of ancient Kerala wamms an important trade and maritime centre. Ancient Beypore was much sought after by merchants from Western Asia, for its ship building industry.
Kovalam Beach
Owing to its natural beauty the beach resort of Kovalam is often referred to as the “Paradise of the South”. The amazing Arabian Sea, the golden glowing sands and the coconut canopies all come together as a package for the picture perfect holiday. Mararikulam Beach
Marari derives its names from Mararikulam, a small village in Kerala inhabited by the local fisherman's there. Life in this place hasn't changed much in the last many decades. Men here continue to go for fishing in the morning while the Ladies perform the necessary household cores.
Kappad Beach
16 kms from Kozhikode (Calicut) (Calicut), this is the historic beach where Vasco-da-Gama landed on the 27th of May 1498, with 170 men in three vessels. A monument on the beach commemorates this historic event. The rock studded beach is locally known as Kappakadavu.
Varkala Beach
Lying in the north of the capital Thiruvananthapuram, at a distance of 54 kms, the Varkala Beach is one of the most isolated Beaches in Kerala. Away from the noise and tensions of daily life, the beach proves to be an ideal haven for those in need of one.
Poovar Beach
Poovar Beach is approximately 45 minutes drive from Kovalam. Poovar Beach separates the Neyyar River from the sea. Essentially a fishing village, it is a beautiful and unexplored beach resort. You can reach the Poovar Beach by water taxis only. The beach is not used for beach activities and water sports because of the fishing population.
Cherai Beach
The beach is shallow, calm and is ideal for swimming & sunbathing. Enjoy a game of beach volley ball & take a dip in the sea. We have enough beach benches & umbrellas for your comfort.
